High 5 Netball

Ipswich and South Suffolk School Games Netball Tournament

Tuesday 23rd May 2017

On a hot day in May we went to Ipswich School, Rushmere to take part in the netball tournament.  Due to the heat we played half our games, had lunch, then completed the other half of our games.  We won 2 games and lost 2 games, although one of these games was extremely close.  Every team had one player selected to receive a fair play award, decided by the umpires, and Lily won the award!  However, due to the whole team’s great attitude, creating a really enjoyable atmosphere, everyone would have been a worthy winner!

Well done to everyone and thank you to Mrs Knott and Mrs Wakeling for an amazing netball year!

Autumn 2016 and Spring 2017

IPSSA High 5 Netball League

The High 5 netball club were very enthusiastic when weekly training started in September.

The year 6 team have experienced varied success in league matches.  The first two fixtures resulted in a draw and a win, but recently they came up against some excellent shooters, which was reflected in the results.

Despite this, they have all shown great resilience and positivity and are talking of continuing to play in 7 a-side netball as they move on to High School.
