School Games Day 2017

Pupils from key stage 2 celebrated their School Games Day, by competing in their house teams – Lions, Crocodiles, Orangutans and Dolphins.  They researched different languages and made posters to share what they had learnt.

The pupils participated in both track and field events.

The track events involved throwing, dribbling, and jumping, whilst the field events involved sprints, long distance, hurdles and relays.

Pupils who had represented the school in School Games or IPSSA competitions were awarded a sports representative wrist band to acknowledge their achievement.

Those pupils that had achieved gold, silver or bronze awards in the School Games competitions were also acknowledged with the relevant pin badge:

Year 4 “A” team boys cross country – bronze

Year 4 “A “team girls cross country – bronze

Year 5 “A” team girls cross country – silver

U9 Tag Rugby mixed team – silver

U9 Girls football – silver.
